The song , "24 Hr. Alamo" is an original song written by Jason Collins.
Like thousands of others around the world, Jason was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
At one point the lyrics say "I will not go quietly!"
This song is an anthem expressing the spirit "Let's take the fight to the enemy!"
A portion of all Jason Collins Experiment proceeds go to help fight MS.
The Diagnosis
In February of 2005 Jason Collins was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and within a matter of weeks was confined to a wheelchair. He suffers vision impairment, numbness in his extremities and extreme fatigue. Thankfully Dr Scott Blattman and other neurologists prescribed a regiment of Chemotherapy and various other drugs and currently Jason is able to walk with the aid of a cane. The Mission
Jason Collins, Todd Gibson and other friends and fellow musicians have vowed to use their musical passion and talents to raise awareness and *funding for Multiple Sclerosis research. Our desire is to use our music and message to offer support and assistance for those dealing with the disease and their friends and family members. We want to help those with MS lead as normal a life as possible. And finally to provide hope and encouragement for all people, those afflicted with Multiple Sclerosis and other diseases, and those going through the hard times that are a part of life. Join our mission by downloading our songs, please spread the word to others.
Our battle cry is "Take the fight to the enemy! Let' smash this bug! Let's be on the offensive and never relent.
